Halle Institute for Global Learning is Emory University’s premier venue for visits by heads of state, distinguished policymakers and influential public intellectuals from around the world. Established in 1997 with a gift from Claus M. Halle, The Halle Institute brings distinguished visitors into dialogue with the Emory and Atlanta community and provides a forum for faculty research and expert meetings.
Through its various programs, The Halle Institute contributes to strengthening faculty distinction and engaging local and global communities. Programs include our Distinguished Fellows, Speaker Series, Research and Study Trips.
