Tarun Wadhwa is a researcher with Hybrid Reality Institute, where he analyzes the intersection between advancing technologies and geopolitics. He is also a research fellow with Singularity University. He writes regularly on his blog for Forbes, Disruption and Democracy, and is the author of an upcoming book, Identified, that explores the global rise of digital identification systems.
Previously, he was a senior research associate with Think India Foundation and a researcher with the Vivekananda International Foundation in New Delhi. He has also conducted research on globalization and trade-related issues for Harvard Law School, Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering, and Patton Boggs LLP. Additionally, he has worked on advocacy, labor, and privacy issues with the Campaign For Youth Justice; Office of the U.S. Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao; and the North Carolina Attorney General's Office.
